Being listed as one of the Top Docs for Plastic Surgery in Houston by H Texas Magazine in 2004 as well as one of the Top Docs listed in the 2005 Woman’s Edition of H Texas Magazine was a personal honor for Dr. Lee. In addition, Dr. Lee was listed, with a select few Plastic Surgeons, as a 2004 Texas Super Doctor by Texas monthly Magazine in its December 2004 issue.

Patient’s sometimes like to know a little of the personal side of their physicians.

       Dr. Lee's activities include writing screenplays. His script SHROUDED won a Gold Award at the Houston Worldfest Film Festival in 2003. He has other scripts in the works and plans to submit them for consideration.

       Fun activities include travel, dining, good wine, leisure reading and movies with his wife, Maria. Their family consists of seven children… aged 21 to 32, with five grandchildren at the last count.

       Personal past activities include Scuba Diving (PADI certification), Private Pilot’s License (single engine, land), active skiing and swimming.

       Most recently Dr. Lee and Maria opened a bed and breakfast in Natchitoches, Louisiana. This is his home town and his sister actively maintains and oversees the home. It is a beautiful four and a half hour drive from Houston to Natchitoches, which is located in the rolling hills of central Louisiana. Natchitoches is an up and coming tourist attraction due to its history, founded in 1714, the oldest town in the Louisiana Purchase, as well as being the site for the filming of the movie Steel Magnolias.        Dr. Lee’s personal philosophy is simple; he enjoys life and his work… which, God willing, will be for many more years.
