Eyelid Syrgery (Blepharoplasty)

The procedure for removal of excess fat and skin from the upper and lower lids is the "Blepharoplasty". With this procedure we improve the shape of the upper and lower eyelids, giving them a youthful appearance with a more defined upper lid crease and less "bagginess", as frequently noted, in the lower lids.

Occasionally we see changes of the lower lid associated with a loss of lid tugor, that results in the lower lid pulling away or starting to be displaced downward. This may require a procedure to tighten the lower lid that can be performed at the same time as the Blepharoplasty.

I perform this surgery on an outpatient basis, usually under general anesthesia.
